Introduction

For the original RR10^™ Bomber 4WD RTR, Axial^® partnered with Bomber Fabrication owner and two-time King of Hammers rock racing champion Randy Slawson to create a new level of 1/10 scale rock racing rig built on the fast, durable Axial^® full tube chassis. Now that rig is set to continue its dominance with new electronics from Spektrum^™ and Dynamite^™ brands. Also, in addition to the Randy Slawson Bomber updated livery, a second option is available with Savvy Offroad Bomber livery. The Randy Slawson version includes Trail Ready beadlock wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich^® Baja T/S KR3 tires, while the Savvy Offroad Bomber comes with Raceline beadlock wheels wrapped with Falken Wildpeak M/T tires.

Overview

Standard features in both Bomber versions are the scale tube chassis; durable front and rear WB8 HD Wildboar^™ driveshafts; dual slipper clutch; Hi-Lo transmission with all-metal internal gears; and realistic scale details including molded driver figures, three pairs of helmets (motorsport, open AXI03016ll-face and motocross), molded shock reservoirs and more.

True, 4-wheel drive locked differentials are included for dependable traction. The offset pumpkin of the AR60 OCP-Axle^™ increases ground clearance and provides a better driveshaft angle. Thanks to the forward-mounted, easy access battery tray, you can access the adjustable battery compartment simply by removing two body clips to release the front hood. The compartment offers plenty of room to secure 2S or 3S LiPo batteries.

The updated RR10^™ Bomber RTR package's new Spektrum^™ DX3^™ radio uses exclusive DSMR^® technology for superior range, response, and interference resistance. The DX3^™ transmitter's integrated thumb steering option makes it possible to steer one-handed safely and precisely. Both the transmitter and the supplied SR315 3-channel receiver are fully compatible with Spektrum^™ Smart technology. The 15kg Spektrum^™ S614 servo includes metal gears and a metal servo horn for strong, reliable steering. Like the receiver, the servo is waterproof for running in any conditions, rain or shine.

The included 3S LiPo capable Dynamite^® AE-5L ESC with IC3^™ connectors features adjustable drag brake and a light controller with dual LED outputs to accommodate the new LED headlights and tail lights. The RR10 Bomber rock racer now features two forward-facing white LEDs, two white LEDs on the front for rock lights, and a new rear LED light bar with two red LEDs.

FULL TUBE CHASSIS
The Axial^® Bomber has proven to be fast and indestructible, with the fastest and most widely recognized tube chassis in RC off-roading. Its high-strength composite plastic is engineered to withstand the hard knocks of rock racing.

AR60 OCP-AXLE^™ (OFF-CENTERED PUMPKIN DESIGN)
True 4-wheel drive locked differentials are included for improved traction. An offset pumpkin increases ground clearance and provides a better driveshaft angle.

FORWARD-MOUNTED, EASY ACCESS BATTERY TRAY
To access the adjustable battery compartment, simply remove two body clips to release the front hood. The compartment allows ample room to install 2S or 3S LiPo batteries.

YETI^™ STYLE TRANSMISSION (2-SPEED READY)
With all-metal internal gears, the full bearing transmission endures the harshest rock racing environments. The factory gearbox comes as a single speed, with the high gear installed. The integrated motor mount allows endless gearing options. The dual slipper uses a pad on each side of the spur gear for added surface area and more precise tuning and holding power. The spur gear features strong, 32-pitch gearing for high-torque applications. An optional two-speed transmission component is sold separately (AX31181).

ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM SHOCKS
The included aluminum King/Fox shocks feature precision-machined pistons which offer smooth performance throughout the range of travel. Made to tight tolerances, these aluminum shocks feature clear-coated, polished aluminum bodies and are threaded for quick ride height adjustments and pre-load tuning ability. The rear shocks are mounted on the links rather than at the axle, allowing for more suspension travel and better high-speed handling.

4-LINK SUSPENSION
The suspension geometry uses a 4-link design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and to provide the proper anti-squat and roll characteristics. The 4-link system also aids against suspension wrap-up in high-power applications.

REALISTIC OFF-ROAD TIRES
Both Bomber versions include tires that capture the aggressive looks and remarkable performance of popular full-size off-road racing treads. The Randy Slawson Bomber includes Trail Ready beadlock wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich^® Baja T/S KR3 tires, while the Savvy Offroad Bomber comes with Raceline beadlock wheels wrapped with Falken Wildpeak M/T tires.

EASY ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
All electronics are routed and part of the skid plate assembly. Simply drop the skid plate and remove the shocks at the chassis to access the electronic components.

MULTIPLE MOUNTING POINTS FOR SHOCKS AND LINKS
Axial^® includes a variety of shock mounting points for running dual shock setups and for additional suspension tuning options. On the skid plate you'll find two front and three rear upper link mounting positions. A sway bar mount is connected to the cage under the fuel cell for additional rear suspension tuning. An optional sway bar is sold separately (AX1331).

SCALE DETAILS
Realistic scale details include a polycarbonate interior tray with molded driver figures and dashboard; three pairs of black styrene helmets (motorsport, open skull-face, and motocross); scale molded shock reservoirs; fuel cell; and RR10^™-licensed Bomber Fabrication scale tube chassis.

WB8 HD DRIVESHAFTS
The WB8 HD driveshafts feature an updated design with a larger diameter cross pin (2x11mm) along with an M4 Screw Shaft (2mm hex drive) for added strength. A center splined slider floats between each end and features added material which reduces flex and fatigue.

The waterproof receiver box uses three different silicone seals: one for the antenna, one for the servo wires (with three slots for three channels), and one that acts as a gasket for the receiver box cover. No more stress when running in mud, water, or snow!

Delivery
Once RC Hobbies has confirmed acceptance of the buyer's order, we will endeavor to dispatch the buyer's order within 1-3 Business days unless a different time frame is specified in relation to a particular product. If we are unable to dispatch the buyer's order within the time frame specified by RC Hobbies we will endeavor to contact the buyer and advise the buyer of the expected dispatch date.

In stock items are generally dispatched on the same day you place your order, unless a different time frame is specified in relation to a particular product and provided the order was placed before our daily cut off time which is usually around 1PM.

We use NZ Post, Aramex, and Post Haste for New Zealand orders. Deliveries are usually 2 working days, but please allow an extra day for big parcels to reach the South Island and for rural deliveries.

We use NZ Post for orders that can fit into overnight courier bags and Post Haste for larger parcels.

Tracking emails will be sent out once parcels have been collected.

The buyer may specify delivery instructions for an order (for example, the buyer may authorise the delivery agent to leave the products in a specified location if the buyer will not be at the delivery address). RC Hobbies will not be responsible for any order that is delivered in accordance with the buyer’s delivery instructions.

RC Hobbies can send goods to PO Boxes, except for large freight boxes.

Returns Policy

The item I received is not the item I ordered

Provided the item is unopened and in mint condition we’ll replace the item. To receive your replacement you must return the original item to. You will be provided with a no-cost return addressed courier satchel (or similar) and we will process your replacement within 1–3 days of receiving your item.

The item I ordered arrived faulty.

Please arrange with RC Hobbies to return the item for testing. If we confirm that the item was damaged before leaving RC Hobbies, or was faulty out of the box, your item will be repaired or if it cannot be repaired then it will be replaced by RC Hobbies Ltd free of charge. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.

The item I ordered did not arrive

If your item did not arrive the first thing to do is request a “track and trace” on your item from the Courier Post or Fastway tracking emails we send out.

If the “track and trace” on your order indicates that it has been delivered, but you’re unable to find it or it hasn’t been delivered within the timeframe we will start an investigation with Courier Post & Post Haste on your behalf.

Regrettably, neither RC Hobbies nor Courier Post & Fastway are able to refund or replace items that have been lost, damaged or stolen after being delivered to your property. If you are concerned about leaving your items unattended we recommend using “Signature Required” option which is our default option unless advise by the Buyer to use the “No Signature Required” option.

I've changed my mind and no longer want the item I ordered

Change of mind returns can be processed as long as it has been agreed by RC Hobbies and the item has been returned within 7 days of dispatch and is unopened and in mint condition. The shipping for the return will also be at the cost of the buyer. Once we have the item in hand we will assess the item and if everything checks out OK you will receive a Store Credit or refund less the restock fee and freight charges.

Restock fee

All goods ordered in error by the Customer or goods the Customer wishes to return are subject to a restock fee. The fee is 15% of the goods sales value. This applies if you change your mind, ordered it in error, unwanted Gift or just did not like it or did not suit you, so please choose carefully and read the descriptions in the listings as some products also require additional items to complete.
